RCI is pursuing innovative solutions to current research problems in the following areas using a mix of customer-provided and internal funds:
Anti-Tamper
- RCI is experimenting with the use of software sneak circuits to obfuscate code and protect binaries from tampering under a MDA Phase II SBIR contract.
Software Maintenance
- RCI is under contract to research the topic of software maintenance and find out exactly what work software people perform and how it is estimated/budgeted by life cycle support organizations.
Software Testing
- RCI is investigating software testing best practices in an effort to improve how organizations tool and perform this vital activity. In order to provide better insights during testing, RCI is also developing new metrics and models (including reliability) for use during execution of this phase of the life cycle.
